It is active in over 30 countries with a dynamic international workforce of 26,000 people and a track record of more than 100 years in the industry.About us:We seek for our newGROUP SUBSURFACE MANAGERto join our Group E&P Field Development & Innovative Technologies Team to lead the core subsurface organization consisting of geologists, geophysicists, petrophysicists and reservoir engineers. Ensure technical excellence and support field development projects and BD evaluations.Main tasks:

• Manages his/her organization with ownership, ensures sustainable solutions and customer focused operation. Responsible for the development and succession of his/her subordinates.
• Responsible for ensuring and controlling of compliance with the related legal and company rules – with special regard to the general regulations defining company operation: Code of Ethics and Business Conduct, rules of Conflict of Interest, HSE and Data Protection.
• Deploy the capability of the Subsurface Team to pursue field development projects, special studies and BD evaluations.
• Lead and participate in project assurance to ensure that uncertainties and risks are well presented and understood by decision makers.
• Support the technical work of the reserves committee.
• Ensure that members of the subsurface group effectively align and communicate across the organisation and with related disciplines.
• Ensure that industry best practices are followed or implemented where appropriate.

The ideal candidate:

• gained 10 years of oil & gas experience
• has leadership capabilities demonstrated in leading projects and ideally in leading people
• has performance drive to ensure that subsurface projects and evaluations have the appropriate depth and are performed timely
• is a petroleum engineer with hands on subsurface evaluation skills. This includes understanding seismic, logs, geological concepts and dynamic fluid flow and production.
• has lead several integrated subsurface studies
• possesses judgement of what subsurface evaluation are appropriate for different opportunities or challenges
• Strong English language skills
