Mediplacements are looking for an experienced band 6 Biomedical Scientist in Haematology for a job vacancy in London.

The pay for this position is up to GBP29 per hour, and we are looking for someone who can start as soon as possible for an ongoing duration.

Job Description:
We have a need to provide cover at our North We need a BMS with Haematology/BT experience.
ASAP start

North West London
GBP29/hr umbrella company core hours more for out of hours
Shifts – rota will be given by line manager
Must be fully flexible

We have Sysmex lines for Haematology and Coagulation and Ortho analysers for BT.
LIMS wise we have Winpath for BT and Helix our internal LIMS for Haematology and Coagulation.

The expectation is they mainly work during daytime, but on the odd occasion, may be required to out of hours.

The candidate will be responsible for:
-Performing and interpreting a range of laboratory tests on blood and other body fluid
-Maintaining and troubleshooting laboratory equipment
-Record keeping and quality control
-Providing results and advice to medical staff
-Participating in continuing education and training

The ideal candidate will be HCPC registered and fully competent in Haematology, Coagulation and Blood Transfusion, and will be able to work effectively as part of a team as well as independently.
