???? JOB DESCRIPTION
As the Head of IT, you will be responsible for setting the strategic direction and priorities for all aspects of our internal information systems and IT services. This is a leadership role focused on guiding and empowering a team of 35 people, which includes both direct contributors and managers. The role emphasizes high-level decision-making and ensuring alignment with the company’s broader objectives.
???? MISSIONS
- Your missions will be focused on five main areas :
1. Strategic Direction for User Support Across Europe
- Lead the strategy and priorities for providing user support to more than 3500 employees across Europe, ensuring high-quality service for employees in offices, remote work settings and on our multiple logistics sites platform.
- Oversee the management of specific equipment for logistics sites, ensuring their effective deployment and maintenance.
- Direct the teams responsible for handling user support tickets, on-site requests, and technical issues, with a focus on maximizing efficiency and user satisfaction across all locations.
2. IT Infrastructure and System Management
- Define the strategic roadmap for managing and improving internal IT systems.
- Maintain and expand the use of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) across all services managed by the IT team, ensuring automation, consistency, and scalability in infrastructure management.
- Manage all group communication systems, Slack, Google Workspace, or group mail servers, ensuring they support business objectives.
- Provide efficient communication platforms on-site and remotely, such as streaming or signage platforms, enabling marketing and communication teams to effectively communicate company-wide.
- Provide direction for the management of parts of the company security platform, including CCTV and user and device authentication, aligning them with the overall IT infrastructure strategy and security teams.
- Provide and maintain internal booking meeting and seat platforms across Europe to enhance employee productivity.
3. IT Asset and Service Management
- Establish and guide the strategic priorities for IT asset management, including the procurement, lifecycle management, and optimization of company computers and related equipment.
- Collaborate closely with logistics to ensure that IT assets, including specialized equipment, are aligned with operational needs and strategic goals.
- Industrialize license management to ensure proper assignment of licenses to employees and optimize their usage.
4. Automation and Efficiency Improvement
- Lead the strategic identification and implementation of automation initiatives within the IT department, prioritizing projects that significantly enhance productivity and efficiency.
- Set the vision and direction for streamlining IT operations, with a focus on reducing manual workloads and improving service delivery across the organization.
- Regularly review IT processes and adjust priorities to ensure alignment with evolving business needs and objectives.
5. Budget and Resource Management
- Provide leadership in the strategic allocation and management of a multi-million euro budget, ensuring all IT investments support the company’s long-term financial and strategic goals.
- Optimize resource allocation by setting clear priorities, ensuring cost-effective delivery of IT services while maintaining high quality and performance standards.
- Continuously monitor financial allocations, adjusting priorities to ensure that spending is in line with the company’s evolving objectives.
???? MUST HAVE skills
- At least 10 years of experience in a similar leadership role, with proven success in setting strategic directions, managing multicultural teams, and working within a Google Workspace environment.
- Strong understanding of internal information systems, infrastructure (including IaC), and communication platforms (Slack, Google workspace or equivalent, WebEx…), with a focus on strategic oversight rather than hands-on work; specialized logistics equipment management knowledge is a plus.
- IT budget management
- A good level of English is mandatory. Proficiency in Spanish is a plus.
- Exceptional leadership and strategic management skills, capable of setting clear directions and priorities in a fast-growing environment. Experience managing both direct contributors and managers is essential.
