As a Head of Legal you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. The Head of Legal will be a recognised expert within the organisation, that draws upon comprehensive knowledge and a deep understanding of this discipline to apply expertise to the most complex and challenging assignments. This role sets direction in their area of specialty, with scope and influence extending across the organisation and may also lead teams of professional associates.Day-to-day, you’ll :

• Lead the legal function for Cavendish Nuclear by supporting on important bids and day-to-day legal matters.
• be responsible for preparing and maintaining corporate records, managing the company’s legal and regulatory filings, and ensuring that the company’s policies and procedures comply with legal and regulatory requirements.
• Provide legal guidance / advice and expertise in corporate governance, compliance, and risk management, individuals in these roles help to protect the interests of Cavendish its shareholders, and other stakeholders.
• Manage a small team of legal professionals

This role is full time, 37 hours per week and provides hybrid working arrangements.Essential experience of the Head of Legal:

• Previous experience of performing work in a specialised area of expertise that requires knowledge of fundamental themes, principles, and concepts.
• Experience of providing legal advice on complex, highly regulated projects
• Previous experience of people management
