Responsibilities
-Develop and implement a global procurement strategy aligned with company growth and operational goals
-Build, mentor, and lead a globally distributed procurement team
-Build a standardized procurement framework across all regions (North America, Europe, APAC, etc.)
-Establish procurement governance, policies, and compliance standards across the global organization
-Actively support tactical buying, supplier negotiations, and troubleshooting when necessary
-Work closely with project delivery teams to ensure timely, cost-efficient sourcing for automation integration projects
-Implement lean procurement processes and continuous improvement initiatives to reduce cost, lead time, and variability
-Introduce digital procurement tools (eProcurement, spend analytics, supplier portals, etc.) to elevate efficiency and transparency
-Identify savings opportunities through value engineering, supplier consolidation, and should cost analysis
Profile
-Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in engineering, supply chain, business, or related field
-10+ years of progressive procurement or supply chain leadership experience, preferably in automation integration, robotics, engineering services, or related industrial sectors
-Demonstrated success implementing continuous improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, PDCA, etc.)
-Experience negotiating complex technical categories and managing multi million global spend
-Strong analytics capability and comfort with data driven decision-making
-Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with senior leadership exposure
-Strong hands on mentality—the ability to switch seamlessly between strategy and execution
-Knowledge of ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Dynamics, etc.) and procurement digitalization tools
-Professional certifications (CIPS, CPM, CSCP, Lean Six Sigma)
