The Directorate works in accordance with the OECD Communications Strategy and pursuant to the annual communication plans for which it is responsible, steering organisational efforts on strategic priorities and supporting policy directorates in their communications to specialised audiences. COM holds as a core value an agile, collaborative and supportive culture, one that is marked by positive interaction and accountability among professionals.The Resource Management Unit (RMU)The Resource Management Unit mission is to ensure coherence, flexibility, and efficiency in the management of human and financial resources of the Directorate. In close co-ordination with the Director’s office, it will contribute to the preparation of the Directorate’s Programme of Work and Budget (PWB), as well as the preparation corporate financial and HR reports with the relevant committees. It will manage income-related activities such as internal billing and cost recovery as well as purchasing-related activities. On behalf of the Director, the RMU will be responsible for the control functions related to the execution of the budget, as well as the monitoring and reporting of expenditure in accordance with OECD rules and procedures. It will also oversee, advise and facilitate all HR planning, recruitment, contracting, separation, talent management and professional development, and performance management exercises in line with the Organisation’s policies.COM is seeking a Head of the Resource Management Unit to provide strategic guidance and advice on human resources management and financial resource management, in accordance with corporate human resources and financial rules, regulations and policy guidelines. The selected candidate will manage a small team and work under the supervision of the Director and in close co-ordination with the Senior Counsellor and Heads of Divisions and will liaise with the Organisation’s corporate services.Job DescriptionStrategic Management and Liaison
