Health and Safety AdvisorWalsall | £40,000 + Car Allowance + BenefitsAn exciting opportunity has arisen to join a leading Principal Contractor as a Health and Safety advisor. The role will be focused on supporting health and safety across civils projects in the midlands. If your interested in joining one of the largest construction companies in the UK, turning over in excess of £1 billion, this opportunity could be for you.Responsibilities of the Health and Safety Advisor will include:

• Visiting sites, supporting with the implementation of health and safety policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with health and safety legislation
• Constantly assessing opportunities for improvements and sharing best practice across the projects and wider organisation
• Conducting training, toolbox talks, inductions and investigating incidents where required under supervision of the advisor

The successful Health and Safety Advisor will have:

• Experience in a similar role ideally from within construction or civil engineering
• NEBOSH Certificate or equivalent
• Good communication and organisational skills
