We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Health and Social Care Teacher to join a vocational curriculum team. You’ll inspire students to develop essential knowledge, values, and skills for careers in health, care and early years settings.This role is ideal for a passionate educator with experience in teaching BTEC, OCR Cambridge Nationals, or similar qualifications at Key Stage 4 and/or Post-16. Beginning April 2025.Duties as a Health and Social Care Teacher:Plan and teach engaging lessons in Health and Social Care, ensuring learners of all abilities can progress.Support students through coursework, assignments, and exam preparation.Embed real-world knowledge and professional values relevant to the care sector.Track student progress, provide feedback, and deliver effective intervention.Contribute to curriculum development and enrichment activities.Ideal Health and Social Care Teacher:Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), PGCE, or equivalent (or working towards it).A strong understanding of the Health and Social Care curriculum.Experience teaching at KS4 and/or KS5 (BTEC, OCR, or NCFE).A caring and student-centred approach with a focus on positive outcomes.Excellent communication, organisation, and classroom management skills as a Health and Social Care Teacher.Why Step Teachers?With a rich history spanning over two decades, our teacher recruitment agency proudly serves North London, East London, Hertfordshire, Norfolk, Suffolk, Cambridgeshire, Oxfordshire, Cornwall, and Devon.
