SALARY: CIRCA 30,000 per year, negotiable for the right person

The Job:
Our client is a modern 4 star branded hotel and we need an experienced Assistant Leisure Club Manager or Health Club Manager, who is looking for a step up in their career and ready to take on the gradual reopening of the health club over the next 12 months.As Health Club Manager, your objectives will be to:

• Recruit and train your team including Leisure attendants, Therapists as well as a Membership Sales Executive.
• Actively develop and grow leisure, membership, spa and treatment side of business.
• To lead from the front with exceptional customer service ensuring the team do the same.
• During the reopening, be actively involved in the hotel operations by being Duty Manager on shift & support your colleagues around the hotel.

The Essential Skills:

• You must be able to demonstrate a proven track record of supervising and managing a team within a leisure club & Spa environment.
• Must have experience of managing the sales & marketing aspect of leisure club operation.
• Proven experience and knowledge of pool plant maintenance.
• Must be highly customer focused with excellent communication skills both face to face, on the telephone & via email.
• Must be commercially aware, understanding the importance of working within costs & departmental budgets.
• Must be highly organised and well versed in completing paperwork
• Must be self-driven, willing to always be ‘hands-on’ and possess a passion for the leisure industry generally
• The role will be 5 days out of 7, including some weekend & evening work
