Job Description:A permanent vacancy currently exists within Mid and East Antrim Borough Council for the following posts and applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced candidates:-Health & Safety Advisor
37 hours per week
Scale SO2, SCP 28-30 Currently £37,938 – £39,513
Location: The location of this post will be confirmed upon appointment and flexibility to be based across the Borough will be required.Main Purpose of Job:
To assist the Health & Safety Manager with the delivery of the Corporate Health and Safety function for Mid and East Antrim Borough Council in compliance with the requirements of the Health and Safety at Work Order (NI) 1978 and relevant statutory provisions.
Responsible, to the Health and Safety Manager, for providing day-to-day advice and guidance to line management and employees in respect of compliance with health and safety legislation, policy and procedures and safe working practices.PLEASE NOTE: Only application forms containing all the information, which has been sought, will be considered.
