  • Develop and implement the company’s Occupational Risk Prevention Plan occupational health and safety policies.
  • Perform prevention officers tasks, including the maintenance of a risk inventory and evaluation (RI&E) and the resulting action plan
  • Implement corrective and preventive actions to mitigate identified risks.
  • Ensure legal compliance with occupational health, safety and environmental laws and regulations;
  • Supervise incident investigations and their follow-up
  • Be the main contact for employees and managers for questions related to HSE.
  • Coordinate health surveillance programs in collaboration with the company’s medical services.
  • Organize safety training sessions and support toolbox meetings for employees and contractors.
  • Conduct regular internal audits and safety inspections across all facilities.
  • Manage relations with external occupational risk services (SPAs or mutualities).
  • Support emergency planning and evacuation drills.
  • Be the main contact for local authorities with respect to environmental permits, notifications (Omgevingsloket) and inspections.
  • Initiate continuous improvement initiatives with respect to HSE.
  • Collaborate with all company departments to support that safety is an integral part of anyone’s daily work routines.

RequirementsWhat You´ll Need

  • MVK (middelbaar veiligheidskundig) or equivalent level of knowledge in the field of occupational health and safety.
  • Familiar with occupational health legislation (arbo) and applicable standards and regulations such as NEN 3140 and PGS documents.
  • Familiar with environmental legislation (such as ‘Omgevingswet’ and ‘Besluit activiteiten leefomgeving’).
  • Proactive, analytical, and highly organized.
  • Strong communicator, capable of training, negotiating, and influencing teams.
  • Able to work cross-functionally and under pressure.
  • Proficient in English.
