This opportunity allows you to shape HSE practices at the Wincanton site while aligning with corporate sustainability and safety initiatives.​What Can You Expect in This Role?Develop and implement the HSE plan for the Wincanton site, embedding a proactive safety culture across all levels.Ensure compliance with UK health, safety, and environmental regulations, driving best practices across site operations.Conduct audits, risk assessments, and COSHH evaluations to maintain a safe and compliant workplace.Lead HSE committee meetings, provide training and coaching to line managers, and deliver robust accident investigations with sustainable corrective actions.Partner with site management to implement strategies to reduce environmental impact and achieve goals such as zero landfill waste.​What Does This Role Offer You?Full autonomy to lead HSE initiatives in a forward-thinking organisation with a strong focus on innovation.Career development opportunities with significant support for professional growth and learning.Opportunity to work within a collaborative team that values health, safety, and environmental excellence.​What We’re Looking For:Proven experience in a senior HSE role, ideally in manufacturing, logistics, or a high-risk environment.Strong knowledge of UK HSE legislation and ISO management systems (45001, 14001).Ability to influence and engage at all levels, fostering a culture of safety and compliance.Experience in environmental initiatives such as waste reduction and sustainability projects.​This is a great opportunity to work for a global Food Manufacturer, reporting directly senior leadership.
