Job description

An international industrial manufacturing company is looking to appoint a Health & Safety Coordinator to assist overseeing a large domestic operation within the Northampton, PA area. As a member of the EHS leadership team, the successful candidate will be tasked with fostering a health and safety culture, requiring the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at various levels of the business.The Role:

• Help develop and implement safety management systems and strategies.
• Provide support and guidance to site leadership on Safety practices and protocols.
• Lead incident investigations and corrective action implementation, as well as site safety trainings.
• Develop relationships with all employees while working hands-on to implement safety programs.
• Work in conjunction with the company’s partners and adhere to their safety needs

The Candidate:

• 3+ years of Safety experience in industrial manufacturing, cement & aggregates, or civil construction
• Experience with MSHA regulations, or an aptitude & desire to learn.
• A.S. or B.S. degree in Occupational Safety & Health or related, or 3 additional years of supplemental experience.
• Familiarity with standard Safety programs & policies, such as Confined Space, LOTO, Working at Heights, Machine Guarding, and PPE.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage others.
