The primary responsibility of this role is to assist the student with their daily needs, including carrying belongings, managing their laptop, and ensuring they have a smooth and inclusive university experience. Key Responsibilities:

• Provide physical assistance to the student, including carrying their belongings, laptop, and other necessary items.
• Assist the student in navigating campus facilities, classrooms, and common areas.
• Ensure the student’s laptop is set up and ready for use during classes and study sessions.
• Help the student with any mobility or accessibility challenges they may encounter.
• Collaborate with university staff to ensure the student’s specific needs are met.
• Maintain a respectful, supportive, and confidential relationship with the student.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a healthcare assistant or personal care role is mandatory.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Compassion, patience, and empathy.
• Ability to provide assistance with mobility.
• Sensitivity to the needs of individuals with disabilities.
• Punctuality and reliability.
• Knowledge of accessibility and inclusion principles is a plus.
