🕒 Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM (with occasional on-call, rota-based)Join a Growing, Nationwide Team of Experts! 🚛🔧Are you an experienced HGV Mechanic looking for a role that gives you freedom on the road, the variety of field service work, and the backing of a well-established company? If so, we want to hear from you!As a Field Service HGV Mechanic, you’ll be part of a skilled team supporting distribution and courier companies across Munster. You’ll take on routine servicing, inspections, and repairs for small trucks, helping to keep the wheels of Irish logistics moving smoothly.What You’ll Be Doing:✅ Conduct visual and operational checks to diagnose faults.
✅ Carry out technical inspections and use diagnostic tools to pinpoint and repair issues.
✅ Perform accident damage assessments and provide accurate reports.
✅ Manage your own workload efficiently, ensuring repairs are completed on time.
✅ Work directly with customers to confirm job completion and satisfaction.
✅ Maintain stock inventory for vehicle parts and follow safety procedures.
✅ Attend relevant training to stay up to date with industry advancements.What We’re Looking For:✔ Qualified Mechanic – City & Guilds Level 3 in Vehicle Mechanical & Electronic Systems (or equivalent).
✔ HGV experience – Knowledge of heavy goods/specialist vehicles.
✔ Strong diagnostic skills – Familiarity with modern electronic systems.
✔ A problem-solver – Able to work independently, prioritise tasks, and meet deadlines.
✔ Great communicator – Comfortable dealing with customers and colleagues.
