Above all Ferrari is an international team working with the highest level of professionalism and dedication, based on performance, meritocracy and continuous development, with innovation at the heart of our future.In order to strengthen our Battery team we are looking to hire a High Performance Battery AI Developer based in Maranello (Italy).We are looking for an individual to join our team of dedicated engineers to research, develop and implement innovative solution for high performance Batteries. You will develop Artificial Intelligence (AI) algorithm in all the different phases of the development: innovative solution research, battery design, cloud control algorithm optimization, fleet monitoring and digital twin. The AI application include different field like chemistry, electrical, thermal, mechanical and big data analysis so is required a flexible and practical approach to cover all the different domains. The most important skill is the knowledge of different algorithm of deterministic AI, supervised and not.In this position, you will be responsible to develop AI based algorithm for:

• Usage of AI for the calibration of the battery control algorithms
• Battery monitoring on the vehicle fleet creating digital twin and predictive maintenance strategy
• Creative usage of AI to improve the actual development process and failure detection.
• Cell, module, pack connection topology for thermal and mechanical optimization

In order to succeed in this challenging role, you will ideally have achieved excellent academic results with a Master-degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or equivalent. You should ideally have gained at least 2 years’ dedicated experience developing and implementing AI solutions. Knowledge of Matlab suite, Phython is required to manage the activities. AI PhD and/or experience in in-field measurement and data treatment for embedded application, AWS, Power BI are considered as an advantage.
In Ferrari you must exhibit the capability to work in a highly-dynamic and fast-changing environment, strong communication skills and accountability are important skillset to manage activities and responsibility of the role. It is important to be proactive proposing new solutions to optimize all the processes and activities.
