We are a team of more than 300 professionals whose high expertise and motivation to achieve a better society through innovation makes it our main asset.Main duties:Be part of the Laser Systems & Applications unit, within the R&D area, and being responsible for the following activities:

• Lead a multidisciplinary team with highly qualified profiles.
• Lead the research lines related to high power laser material processing including additive manufacturing, welding, cutting, cladding and heat treatment.
• Identify and propose new research lines.
• Coordinate and manage adequately the team, ensuring the fulfilment of the objectives and in all aspects related to ressources planification and task execution.
• Promote the involvement and motivation of the members of the team with the different work units.

Education:

• Engineering degree or similar.

Job specific skills:

• Previous profesional experience of at least 8 years leading and motivating teams, planning and supervising projects with high technological content.
• Experience in laser processing of materials.
• Participation in research projects at European, national and regional level.
• Travel availability.
• Fluent English.
• Driving licence and own vehicle.

Desirable qualifications and skills:

• Master in Photonics or Additive Manufacturing.
• Knowledge in electric arc processes.
• Robot programming.
• PhD in disciplines related to laser technologies.
• Leadership and strategic orientation.
