Job Title: History Teacher
Location: Sheffield
Payrate: £155 – £220 per day
Start Date: September 2025Are you passionate about bringing the past to life in the classroom? GSL Education is seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable History Teacher to join secondary schools in Sheffield from September 2025. If you believe in inspiring curiosity and critical thinking through historical exploration, we’d love to hear from you.Job Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging History lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4
• Encourage critical analysis, debate, and independent thought
• Plan and assess student learning in line with the national curriculum
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment
• Support students’ academic and personal development

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or PGCE with a specialism in History
• Experience teaching History in UK secondary schools
• Strong behaviour management and communication skills
• DBS on the Update Service
• Commitment to safeguarding and student wellbeing
• Passion for teaching and inspiring the next generation of historians
