Salary:
£27,584 to £33,804
per annum pro-rata depending on skills and experience. Salary progression beyond this scale is subject to performance.

Do you have experience in supporting business systems (preferably HR) through system administration and user support activities? Do you have advanced Excel skills with experience of using formulas such as index / match, multiple if / and / or statements, pivot tables and array formulas? If so, this could be the role for you!
Your main areas of focus will be to support the existing HR Management Information & Systems Team through:
- the provision of a HR system administration service for a large number of systems, which will include activities such as setting up new user access, providing expert support and guidance and undertaking training when required.
- the production and development of HR related data/statistics which will include completing annual surveys, responding to Freedom of Information requests and providing a bespoke reporting service to customers both within and outside of the University.
Experience of interrogating/interpreting data (preferably HR related data) is essential, as is excellent attention to detail and accuracy, communication, organisational and customer service skills.
You will be educated to degree level (or equivalent) or, alternatively, you should have demonstrable experience in the field of HR systems/information.
This role is fixed term until 31st March 2024. Hours of work are full-time (36.25 hours); however, applications are also welcome from candidates wishing to work part-time (minimum 29 hours per week). Please specify in your application if you wish to work part time and the number of preferred hours. Arrangements for job share would be considered.
Requests for secondment from internal candidates will be considered on the basis that prior agreement has been sought from both your current line manager and the manager of your substantive post, if you are already undertaking a secondment role.
