A fantastic job opportunity has arisen to join the Human Resources Area as “HR Generalist/Project Management”. We are looking for a professional ready to take on the challenge of working in one of the most important and competitive Research Centres linked to the health sector in Spain/Europe.The ideal candidate will play a key role in the HR Area, driving impactful HR initiatives and projects. They will take ownership of creating and enhancing HR content, developing comprehensive policies and procedures across organisational units, and expertly managing the execution of initiatives to support the HR Directorate goals’ Agenda.The mission of the Human Resources Area is articulated through four strategic pillars:

The area of Human Resources covers Talent Attraction and Acquisition, Professional Development/Training, Strategic HR Projects, Personnel Administration and Labour Relations (involving a current team of seventeen people)Education and qualifications:Required:

- Master’s Degree in Human Resources Management will be an advantage.
- Postgraduate training or certifications in Project Management.
Experience and knowledge:Required:
- Strong knowledge of HR processes, regulations, and best practices.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience as Project Manager of related disciplines.
- Wide experience in drafting policies, procedures, as well as preparing visual presentations in diverse formats for a variety of audiences.
- Strong project management skills.
- Experience coordinating projects with a tech component.
- Experience managing cross-functional working teams.
- Excellent organisational, interpersonal and communication skills at all levels.
- Proactive and self-starter attitude.
- Detail/results-oriented.
- Confidentially and discretion.
- Flexible and adaptable to different dynamics and processes.
- Proficiency in both English and in Spanish.
- Proficiency in MS Office tools such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams…
Desired:
- Experience creating and improving HR practices to enhance employee experience.
- Experience working with project’s methodologies.
- Catalan will be a plus.
Main responsibilities and duties:The main responsibilities will be:Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Policies
- Design, develop and implement HR procedures and policies to ensure alignment with the organisation’s Human Resources strategy and compliance with labour laws.
- Regularly review existing HR procedures and policies to enhance efficiency while maintaining a people-focused approach.
- Develop and execute effective communication plans to ensure all stakeholders are well-informed and aligned with HR policies and procedures.
Project Management
- Plan, develop, and manage HR projects providing day-to-day management through all aspects of the project life cycle, co-ordinating project members and in accordance to projects standards and in close alignment with the Programme Manager/Directorate.
- Manage all aspects of the project lifecycle including scope, timelines, resources, methodology, tools, budget, risks and issues, relationships, training and communication. Most projects might require a hands-on approach.
- Foster engagement among projects stakeholders by sharing mission and purpose, and boosting a motivational environment.
- Champion VHIR values and principles across organisation, being a role model and supporting the continual embedding of them in every project HR leads or participates.
HR Initiatives
- Actively participate in HR Initiatives by generating content and launching activities that support the growth and advancement of employees across the organisation, aligned with high-quality practices and compliance with European guidelines.
Reporting and metrics
- Assist in the development, coordination and monitoring of metrics and key performance indicators to measure continuous improvement and drive operational excellence.
- Prepare reports and dashboards to track and communicate the progress and effectiveness of HR projects.
Labour conditions:
- Full-time position (40h/week).
- Starting date: March 2025.
- Contract: Open-ended contract.
- Gross annual salary: 32.000 – 36.000 euros
