I am currently partnering with a rapidly growing healthcare organisation that provides services for vulnerable adults and children to recruit for a HR Manager. This organisation is based in Meath and would suit candidates living in north Dublin, Meath or Louth as this role is based fully onsite.Key Responsibilities
- Strategic HR Leadership
- Acts as an HR manager driving the completion of HR activity for the business unit(s).
- Works closely with line managers to provide HR advice and expertise in the execution of HR policies and processes.
- Manpower Planning, Recruitment & Retention – supporting line managers with effective resource management, including mobilisation and sourcing across Ireland and Europe.
- Lead employment branding initiatives. Nurture and grow a strong employer brand to attract the right candidates, ensuring good relationships with all internal stakeholders.
- Proactively lead the team in building applicant pipelines to reduce time-to-hire and increase quality of hire to meet current and future business needs. Maintain relationships with past candidates for future opportunities, producing and agreeing candidate panel strategies. Lead corporate functions and senior manager hiring processes.
- Collaborate with relevant business units to develop and maintain workforce planning processes to accurately predict workforce needs and requirements. Monitor and analysis recruitment activities and headcount changes to aid budgeting and business decisions. Use data to challenge recruitment requisition outside of plan.
- Working with all stakeholders, liaise and consult on employee retention programmes and review and create best practice Internal movement programmes and initiatives.
- Provide advice and guidance to the ER team, employees and managers on the full range of complex employee/industrial relations issues, in accordance with employment legislation, company policies and best practice to ensure appropriate delivery of ER/IR services to internal customers.
- Work proactively with the HR and Payroll teams to ensure that transactional and operational activities are carried out efficiently and that HR processes are fit for purpose.
- Works closely with the Reward team, to support the facilitation of the annual reward review and alignment to the career framework for your business unit.
- Collaborates with the business to support career growth for employees through effective talent management, training and development, working closely with the Talent, Development & Inclusion team.
- Policy Development and Review and regulatory compliance
Experience/Requirements
- Minimum of five years proven experience as a HR Manager ideally within the healthcare sector
- Degree in Human Resources Management/Business related discipline or equivalent.
- CIPD accreditation an advantage
- Demonstrable experience in recruiting high volume healthcare professionals from Europe
- Experience in high volume full-cycle recruiting, sourcing and employment branding and managing a recruitment team
- Understanding of all selection methods and techniques and strong knowledge of applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and databases
- Excellent knowledge of Human Resources best practices including Performance Management, Compensation and Rewards, Recruitment, Learning and Organisational Development, Employee Relations / Engagement and Talent Management.
- Good stakeholder management skills, with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders
- Sound knowledge of Irish working practices, HR and Employment Law.
- Project Management skills/experience
- Demonstratable track record in change management and organisational development skills
- Commercial awareness & business acumen
