We have an exciting opportunity for a proactive and highly organised individual to join our HR Recruitment and Operations Team to support the delivery of an efficient and effective service. You will join a busy Operations team who provide support to staff on all our HR processes. This role adds real value through the quality of interactions and discussions that it has with our customers (at all levels) and its focus on providing solutions that meet their needs while helping them to understand HR good practice. 

About you 

Our ideal candidate is adept at multi-tasking and unfazed by the demands of multiple stakeholders. You will possess excellent interpersonal skills, together with a positive, professional manner and the ability to deal tactfully and confidently with people at all levels. Given the nature of this role, excellent attention to detail is critical as is the ability to prioritise work effectively and to work to deadlines on your own initiative. 

We’re particularly keen to hear from you if you have experience of working in an HR environment, have strong IT literacy and excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. 

You must be interested in developing and maintaining an understanding of good practice throughout the employment life cycle and apply it to ensure HR processes are carried out effectively and with a high level of attention to detail.

 Key skills: 

  • Have well developed administration and organisational skills 
  • Have excellent written and spoken English 
  • Be able to follow processes and work on your own initiative 
  • An ability to recognise obstacles and seek solutions 
  • Be able to multi-task across projects on a daily basis

This role is offered on a 6-month fixed-term contract basis initially as part of a job share, to be worked Wednesday to Friday (18.25 hours per week/0.5 FTE). There may be an opportunity at the end of this contract for the role to become permanent as it is providing cover for a member of staff on secondment.
