As part of the HR Operations Team, you will play a crucial role in managing and overseeing various HR functions, with a focus on payroll administration and other collective agreement key processes for our organization in Spain.Responsibilities:

  • Legal compliance and accuracy in payroll and compensation.
  • HR Information Systems (HRIS) Management, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
  • E2E Employee Lifecycle Management (from contract generation & onboarding until the exit management).
  • Employee attendance, Support employees with quality and answer queries/request in a timely manner.
  • Update processes & policies accordingly the legal updates in labour, Social Security or taxes.
  • HR reports and dashboards – Develop and maintain HR/KPI dashboards. Analyze HR data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Training administration.
  • T&A system management.
  • Compensation round operation.
  • Expat and relocations management.
  • Manage the vendors relationship.

QualificationsPayroll, C&B & HRIS expertise:

  • Proficiency in HR Information Systems (e.g., Workday, SAP, LMS, SNOW).
  • Understanding of payroll processes, tax calculations, and benefits administration.
  • Expertise in designing and administering comprehensive compensation structures and social benefits programs, including salary benchmarking, equity compensation, retirement plans, and health insurance schemes.

Internal & external relationship building:

  • Vendor management: Managing supplier relationships with external vendors and ensuring they deliver quality services.
  • Local and global compliance and positive interaction to build an efficient working network.
  • Communicating effectively with business leaders, SMEs and other support functions.

Legal Knowledge:

  • Comprehensive knowledge of national labor laws, employment regulations, Chemical Collective Agreement (desirable) and compliance requirements.
  • Expertise in payroll taxes, social security systems, and employee benefits administration
  • Proficiency in international HR complexities, including work permits, data protection, and cross-border employment issues

Problem solving:

  • Critical thinking and analytical mindset to approach complex HR issues systematically.
  • Adaptability and resilience to navigate ambiguous situations and changing organizational needs.
  • Collaborative approach to engage stakeholders across departments for effective problem resolution.

Languages

  • Spanish and English fluency are a must.
