Join the People Products team and you’ll help us research, define, and design HR Products and initiatives, to transform TomTom’ers work experience. You’ll be using your expertise to deliver small, medium, or large projects that span the HR discipline, always keeping our customers top of mind. We achieve this by working in multidisciplinary teams that are dedicated to solving one problem at a time. \nWhat you’ll do

  • Working on real-time projects following the product development lifecycle
  • Doing internal and external research, to nail down the problem statement
  • Designing and developing the right solutions and people products
  • Engage with internal customers to get real-time feedback
  • Deliver and launch to all TomTom’ers the solutions you built
  • Working with your team members following scrum methodology (Daily stand-ups, Sprints plannings, Demo Sessions, and Retrospectives)
  • Collaborating with other People teams and with colleagues from other disciplines (such as IT, Marketing, etc.)

What you’ll need

  • You have seven or more years of experience within HR, ideally in an international business environment. You understand how everything you do will have an impact on other teams in HR
  • You have a broad T-shape and can demonstrate how you’ve worked across disciplines and managed projects. You’re also able to encourage others to develop their T-shapes
  • You have vast experience with managing senior stakeholders, acting with authority in your discipline, and demonstrating broad knowledge of wider HR
  • Being out of your comfort zone, and working with tight deadlines energizes you and drives you to learn every day
  • Understanding of methodologies including but not limited to Agile, Scrum, Kanban
  • You can anticipate business and regulatory issues, turning them into opportunities to improve products, processes, or services
  • You can work independently but also thrive while working with your team members, using scrum methodologies (daily stand-ups, sprint design sessions, retrospectives, etc.)
  • You’ll have accountability for leading large projects and managing risk and complexity to develop and deliver an impactful solution
  • You’re a next-level problem solver, tackling complex challenges by thinking analytically, using your judgment, and identifying innovative solutions, sometimes by thinking outside the box.
  • You’ll use your expertise to impact the direction and resources for a project, meeting best practices and working within guidelines to find the right approach
  • You’ll simplify the complex, overcoming objections to negotiate with and persuade senior stakeholders.
  • You are a storyteller – HR jargon translated into simple and digestible information, to bring anyone along the journey

What’s nice to have
