Human Resources contributes to the Symrise Sustainability strategy and roadmap (Care pillar) according to Symrise goals, sectorial benchmarks, and regulatory and normative requirements. Sustainability KPIs have been defined to foster a mindset that helps to ensure business strategy, code of ethics, goals and mission are properly communicated to our employees to set the foundations for best practices.
Group Human Resources is a key enabler of change in work processes of Symrise that can have a positive impact on our environment, e.g., by encouraging the use of automated processes or software to avoid the use of paper, reducing the use of plastic at the workplace, encouraging, and implementing innovative ideas for maintaining an environmentally and socially responsible workplace.
Your role
Join us as our HR Sustainability Analyst and play a vital role in driving social impact within Symrise’s Sustainability agenda. In this dynamic fixed-term position, you’ll step into the shoes of a crucial team member while a colleague is on maternity leave. Your responsibilities will be diverse, challenging, and deeply meaningful, making every day a rewarding experience.

Applicants should hold a degree focused on HR or Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) topics, showcasing a solid educational background in the field. Proficiency in writing and communication is crucial for effectively conveying complex ideas and data to various stakeholders. Candidates with prior experience in managing stakeholders within dynamic, multinational settings will be highly regarded, as this demonstrates the ability to foster collaboration across diverse teams. Attention to detail and strong analytical skills are essential for ensuring the accuracy and reliability of data. Fluency in both written and spoken English is a prerequisite for seamless communication within our global organization. While not mandatory, familiarity with ESG regulations and experience with HR Information Systems (HRIS) platforms such as Workday are advantageous, as they enhance the candidate’s ability to contribute effectively to our sustainability initiatives.
