This unit is crucial for us, as our colleagues manage navigation, ship propulsion and all technical matters on board. We foster an environment built on trust and transparency, where everyone’s voice is heard.How you’ll live your ambition:From our offices in Genoa, as a HR Training & Development for the onboard Deck & Engine roles, you will play a pivotal role in implementing our training strategy & development strategy across our fleet. You will be responsible for designing, delivering, and evaluating training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of our colleagues in the Deck & Engine departments.In this team, we ensure that our shipboard colleagues are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their roles effectively. We operate with a global perspective and provide outstanding service to support the business and promote an exceptional learning & development experience.Demonstrate your passion

• Chart the course of our training execution, starting from the analysis of the training needs of individual employees and enabling business and organizational objectives.
• Have the chance to design and develop effective training programs, both classroom-based, online, and blended.
• Personally coordinate and manage training sessions, workshops, and seminars.
• Serve as the point of reference for the Deck & Engine team leaders to identify professional development opportunities.

Get things right

• Guiding us towards the horizon, you will manage the training and development budget and keep training materials and resources up-to-date.
• As a trusted advisor, you will evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through feedback and performance metrics.
• Monitor industry trends and implement new learning techniques and technologies.

What makes you unique

• You have at least 5-6 years of experience in the Training & Development field. Expertise in learning and development specifically related to maritime / deck & engine roles will be a significant advantage;
• You hold an academic background in Hr, Economics, Psychology, Business, International Studies, Languages;
• Knowledge of the latest training and development techniques;
• Familiarity with training management software and e-learning platforms;
• You are talented in organizing, time-management, prioritizing and administration;
• As a global citizen, you embrace diversity and communicate fluently in English and in at least another language among French, German, Spanish and Portuguese, in addition to Italian language (mother-tongue).
• Teamwork comes naturally, inspiring others to give their best.
