HRIS Analyst

The HRIS Analyst will support the global implementation of Workday HCM to Skechers. In this role you will provide development and operations support to the Manager, the HRIS team and collaborate with cross-functional teams across the business.

Your main duties and responsibilities will consist of but not limited to:

  • Assist the cross-functional Workday configuration and maintenance across the following areas; Core HCM, Recruiting, Onboarding, Talent, and Reporting
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to develop Workday solutions, processes and policies resulting in an excellent user experience and process efficiencies
  • Monitor systems performance and continuously creates improvement recommendations
  • Identify and troubleshoot issues, resolve complicated system problems and develop workflow rules, data validations and customizations
  • Provide front end support, troubleshooting, and guidance to HRIS users
  • Be a subject matter expert on the Workday HCM platform. Be comfortable sharing Workday expertise with other team members
  • Participate in end-to-end positive and negative unit testing, while building a library of leverageable test scenarios and scripts
  • Participate in testing and promotion of new releases
  • Maintain a deep understanding of HR industry trends, best practices, and latest technologies to include Workday Community, implementing them into daily operations
  • Monitor and triages interface issues with 3rd party vendor solutions, as needed
  • Help to ensure that system controls and processes meet all internal and external audit requirements
  • Help to maintain change documentation and training materials
  • Participate in phase 2 Workday implementation (Payroll, Benefits & Absences)

Job Requirements:

  • Fluent in English and French
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Strong planning, prioritization and time management skills. The ability to work independently and show initiative to drive the global Workday implementation forward
  • Ability to maintain excellent cross-functional partnerships
  • Ability to fully comprehend a holistic view of enterprise systems structure and HR processes

Education and experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 6-7 years’ experience working as an HRIS Analyst or in a similar role
  • Experience and a strong knowledge of Workday HRIS is required
  • Experience with large-scale HRIS / HCM implementations, ideally in a globally distributed HR environment
  • Payroll experience is a plus
