An exciting opportunity has arisen for a passionate motivated band 6  midwife who has sound infant feeding knowledge to work with our Infant Feeding Specialist Team, providing specialist infant feeding care, whilst supporting with the day-to-day running of the infant feeding service and twice-weekly tongue-tie clinic in maternity.

The Infant Feeding Team work 7 days a week to give specialist support and advice to new families and staff to help new mothers and parents on their infant feeding journey. The team are based on the postnatal wards at the Princess Anne Hospital. Help and support is provided at the bedside, in clinic settings, virtually via video call and telephone. Our Maternity service is very busy with over 5000 births per year with a 75-80% breastfeeding initiation rate.
