We are currently recruiting for our Paris office, an Infrastructure Operations Specialist H/F

We are looking to strengthen our DevOps team to accompany Kayrros’ growth. You will join our team as an Infrastructure Operations Specialist to build, operate and improve our infrastructure.

By following the best practices in infrastructure design, system administration and deployment workflows, you will enable innovation in conjunction with developers, researchers and data scientists.

Why do we need you?

We have recently migrated our infrastructure to AWS. We need to scale up the team hence we are looking for someone who can work with us on operations to support our business by improving the security, availability and scalability. As an Infrastructure Operations Specialist, you will be part of the infrastructure team and be responsible for the following:

● Guaranteeing business continuity by handling incidents

● Evolve our AWS platform by fulfilling requests made by Data Engineer, ML Engineer and Data Scientists 

● Monitoring the infrastructure for availability and capacity

● Troubleshooting issues, finding root causes, contributing to continuous improvement 

● Understanding the usage of our clients and helping them better consume resources 

● Sharing knowledge internally and externally

Requirements

What hard skills are we looking for:

● You have a deep knowledge of AWS, Linux and containers

● Proficient with at least one programming language (preferably Python)

What soft skills are we looking for:

● Autonomous and able to rapidly learn new skills and technologies

● Thrive in a small, dynamic and agile team environment

● Languages: English and French are mandatory (our team communicates in French on a daily basis but we write everything in English and occasionally work with colleagues in the UK/US/India)

What would be a plus:

● Experience working on cloud infrastructures (AWS)

● Experience with developing and supporting applications in docker and K8s
