An exciting opportunity has arisen for a paralegal to join the Intellectual Property team at a leading US firm in the City of London. They are seeking a driven and enthusiastic paralegal with a genuine interest in the IP field to join their collaborative and rapidly growing team.About the role:
Responsibilities include, but aren’t limited to:

• Supporting lawyers to assist with the preparation, drafting and filing of trade mark and design applications.
• Conducting clearance searches
• Undertaking online research, investigations, legal research and preparing reports
• Assisting with IP watching and monitoring services.
• Assisting with managing the IP database and records
• Researching particularly in the areas of fashion, retail, luxury goods and design
• Preparing research memos and presentations.

About you:
The ideal candidate would demonstrate:

• Strong internet and online search skills
• Trade Mark and design prosecution experience, with UK, EU and international experience preferred.
• A strong academic background
• Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to show initiative
• The ability to be detail-focused and self-motivated.
