Applications are invited for the post of interim Director of Education and innovation for 9 months. This is an exciting opportunity to rethink education at Royal Holloway as we embark upon a new strategy, providing support for our existing teams and shaping the future requirements for the role. Reporting to the Executive Director of Student Journey, and working closely with the Pro Vice Chancellor, Education and Student Experience, the successful candidate will:

• Assist with the development of the Access and Participation Plan and oversight of key operational groups.
• Assist with the development of the University’s new Education and Student Experience strategic plan as a core member of the Strategy Management Group and lead for key elements of the transformation programme.
• Shape relevant departments who will be delivering pedagogic training and educational development activity at scale in 2024/25 to reflect the forthcoming RH2030s Curriculum Framework.
• Review academic support at the University.
• Assist with the development of a digital education plan.
• Assist with portfolio transformation, efficiency and sustainability activity.
• Provide support and oversight of key student experience workstreams.
