We’re looking for an Internal Communications Officer to plan, deliver and evaluate high-quality internal communications for the university’s staff and students, with a focus on devising creative and compelling campaigns, large and small, that achieve measurable results.

We’re looking for a proactive, flexible, and resilient individual with lots of initiative, who enjoys taking on a wide variety of work, to join our innovative internal communications team.

Day-to-day, we’ll rely on you to write clear, compelling, and creative content, often under pressure and to tight deadlines, and ensure its adapted to the right channel and needs of the audience. You’ll also need to work with a variety of stakeholders to identify communication objectives, put together a plan that delivers key messages to relevant audiences, utilise a wide range of communication channels and measure the outcomes. Put simply, you’ll act as an internal communications expert and source of guidance and advice across the university and regularly influence, guide, and make recommendations to colleagues at all levels of seniority.

Your impact, resilience and sense of collegiality will directly contribute to the university’s future and those of the students whose lives you will touch and change forever. We also offer a great range of benefits including pension, family friendly policies and an on-site nursery and gym at our Docklands Campus.
