Goodyear Tyres have an exciting opportunity in Luxembourg for an internship within our Data-driven engineering team. This internship will be a duration of 6 months, beginning in Early 2025.

 

You must in available for 6 months and be enrolled in university to apply for this position.

Primary Purpose of the Position

The internship will be focused on a comparative analysis of various machine learning models using open-source libraries and frameworks. The primary focus is evaluating these models’ performance to determine their suitability for different problem domains.

To join our team, you will need:

Education

Computer Science / Software Engineering/ Data Science / Mathematics / Engineering (Master is preferred).

 

Knowledge and Skills

• Proficiency in Python (or other relevant languages) for implementing machine learning models and data manipulation.
• Ability to apply statistical methods and techniques for model evaluation and comparison.
• Skills in creating visualizations using tools and libraries like Matplotlib, Seaborn, or Plotly to present findings.
• Careful attention to detail in implementing models, preprocessing data, and interpreting results.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively present findings and collaborate with team members.
• Ability to work collaboratively with others, including code reviews and sharing insights.
• Organizational skills to manage tasks, deadlines, and project milestones effectively.

 

Languages:

• English is a must.
• French or German are a plus.
