We also work with public departments, research institutes and civil society organisations to enable meaningful social change.With 2,500 staff, Enabel manages more than 200 projects in more than twenty countries, in Europe, Africa and the Middle East.BackgroundWe are seeking a motivated and exceptionally organized intern to support coordination of the launch of our new Equity in Action Strategy and reporting and knowledge capitalisation efforts.This role offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in development event planning, stakeholder coordination, and strategic documentation within a dynamic environment.Job description

• Assist in planning, logistics, and coordination of workshops and conferences.

• Support communication with staff and stakeholders (partners, guests, speakers, and participants).

• Prepare event materials such as agendas, background notes, presentations, and follow-up reports.

• Document key lessons learned, and outcomes of events and other actions for learning and dissemination.

• Contribute to content creation (e.g., briefs, social media articles,..).

• Create, update and maintain event databases and update contact lists and mailing lists.

• Support knowledge capitalisation and learning material

Your profileRequired Skills & Qualifications:

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in international development, communications, social sciences, economics, human resources, administration or a related field.

• Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail.

• Excellent written and verbal communication in English and French (for communication with colleagues in partner countries and stakeholders). Dutch a very strong +.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite – especially Excel.

• Interest in international development and event coordination.

• Interest and drive for gender equality, women’s rights or inclusion a must.

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a multicultural environment.
