Bachelor’s/Master’s Thesis in Workforce Planning – Selection and Implementation of a Software Solution for Labor Forecasting & Labor PlanningThesis TopicAs part of your Bachelor’s or Master’s thesis, you will analyze the requirements of our workforce planning processes and evaluate a software solution to support better forecasting and planning of personnel needs. The goal is to improve coordination between workforce planning, production, and temporary employment agencies while identifying a future-proof solution.Key Focus Areas:

• Analysis of current processes in workforce and shift planning, as well as collaboration with production and external partners.
• Identifying requirements for a software solution tailored to labor forecasting and planning.
• Researching and evaluating software solutions (e.g., specialized workforce management systems).
• Developing a criteria catalog for software selection (e.g., user-friendliness, integration capabilities, cost).
• Comparing potential solutions and presenting a recommendation.

Your Responsibilities

• Conducting a current state analysis of our workforce planning processes.
• Defining software requirements in close collaboration with workforce planning, production, and temporary employment agencies.
• Performing market research and comparing suitable software solutions.
• Developing a concept for the implementation of the selected solution.
• Documenting your findings and providing recommendations for practical implementation.

Your Profile

• Enrolled student (m/f/d) in a relevant field of study, such as Industrial Engineering, Human Resources Management, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
• Interest in workforce planning, software solutions, and interdisciplinary collaboration.
• Strong analytical skills and a structured working style.
• Ideally, some knowledge of workforce management or ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
