Key responsibilities include:

• Sourcing, Due Diligence and Investment: develop relationships with investment managers and placement agents to source new investment opportunities; lead rigorous due diligence of asset managers and other investment opportunities; qualitative and quantitative analyses of a manager’s portfolio, performance, strategy and team; finalization of legal documentation including coordination of legal & tax team and negotiations with legal advisors
• Investment Monitoring and Portfolio Management: own ongoing diligence and monitoring of investment managers and opportunities, including quarterly review of portfolio of invested managers; develop quantitative models and business plans for monitoring and estimate investment performances
• Interaction with Clients: interact with client on the overarching strategy within asset classes, manager selection and portfolio construction
• Team Development: manage, develop and mentor junior team members who will support the Investment professional in their range of responsibilities

SGR – Alternative Investments|3/4 years’ previous experience in the roleThe ideal candidate:

• Has preferably 3/4 years of experience in asset management (preferably as fund selector) or in a due diligence/valuation team of an M&A or consulting firm
• MSc in Finance
• Has an active passion for investing and strong quantitative and problem solving skills
• Has a flexible entrepreneurial attitude and appetite for tackling challenging projects
• Is comfortable and confident interacting with business leaders and sophisticated asset managers
