Responsibilities/Main Functions

• Implement requirements of various nature and complexity into the reinsurance and financial systems via customizing changes.
• Proactively shaping the nearshore services offering to the group, by defining the processes and service levels for the colleagues within the company, such as transactions processing, maintenance of the master data records.
• Monitor and ensure the health of our reinsurance transactional platforms.
• Support periodic financial closing activities via ensuring the readiness of the system, assisting processing the transactions and troubleshooting.
• Participate in the innovation, automation, and modernization movement by identifying and modifying processes and steps to achieve smart-first way of working.
• Mapping the reinsurance business intracessions arrangements into the system objects and assist to model/create necessary treaties in Reinsurance Administration System (SAP FS-RI).
• Generate the processes documentations.

As integral part of the processes and systems team you will collaborate closely with your peers of processes and systems in St. Gallen, Switzerland as well as the innovation teams to scale digital process, foster innovation. To fulfill this objective, you will:

• Analyse and identify value drivers and remove obstacles and complexities to increase productivity and value.
• Maintain and improve processes, map it to the system setup, and focus on finding innovative solutions to the challenges ahead.
• Handling of some of the recurring requests and periodic tasks.

Final client|English required

• Between 1-8 years of relevant experience in areas of Business Analysis, IT Consulting, Systems Quality Assurance.
• Hands on exposure and experience in enterprise IT systems.
• Data Interpretation and Analysis.
• Knowledge of SAP FS-RI or SAP FI / Business Warehouse will be an asset.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills (German / French / Italian is a nice to have).
