IT Director – Infrastructure
Position Overview
The IT Director – Infrastructure is responsible for leading the strategic direction, design, implementation, and operation of the organization’s IT infrastructure. This role ensures the stability, security, and scalability of the infrastructure to support business operations and future growth.
Key Responsibilities
-Develop and implement the organization’s infrastructure strategy aligned with business objectives.
-Oversee the management, maintenance, and optimization of data centers, networks, servers, cloud services, and end-user computing environments.
-Ensure high availability, performance, and security of infrastructure systems.
-Lead and develop a team of infrastructure professionals, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
-Collaborate with other IT and business leaders to deliver integrated technology solutions.
-Manage relationships with external vendors and service providers.
-Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, policies, and industry standards.
-Drive cost optimization and efficiency within the infrastructure domain.
-Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend their adoption to enhance infrastructure capabilities.
Qualifications & Experience
-Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
-10+ years of experience in IT infrastructure management, including leadership roles.
-Strong technical expertise across networks, servers, cloud computing, storage, virtualization, and security.
-Proven experience in developing and executing infrastructure strategies.
-Demonstrated ability to lead and manage diverse technical teams.
-Strong project management skills and experience with large-scale infrastructure projects.
-Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
-Familiarity with ITIL practices and other IT governance frameworks.

Reporting Line
Reports to: Chief Information Officer (CIO) or equivalent
