Imagine the IT partnership opportunities you could bring!This role will provide the Project Management needed to drive technology roadmap for S&G focusing and enabling decision making in the function that directly drives success of Novartis through more effective product roadmaps, market analysis as well as evaluation for acquisitions.The job purpose is to act as a project management lead leading a team of project associates to deliver IT solutions. We are looking for an experienced individual in S&G (Strategy & Growth) IT space to lead end to end delivery of the solutions that re-define how Novartis operates.Job DescriptionMajor accountabilities:Managing the delivery of internal and outsourced projects from project initiation to transition to operationsEngage with global business leaders and leverage the appropriate IT teams and Functions to determine requirements and deliver IT solutions to improve efficiency and generate value.Delivering projects on time and within budget and to meet the desired business objectivesEstablishing plan and initiating project mobilization by confirming project scope, estimate, resources, roles and responsibilitiesEnsuring appropriate use of project management methods and tools depending on the type of project (e.g. Agile)Directing outputs of the project team, ensuring overall success of project and effective use of resources. Monitoring and controlling execution of project and establish project governance, managing risks and issues.Ensuring project adherence with Data privacy, Security and Compliance policies and procedures within Project Management service scope. Have in-depth understanding of the validation procedures followed in a regulated environment.Engage with various user communities in S&G space to identify high priority subject areas. Develop project rationale and perform scoping assessments to determine feasibility of projects. ​Minimum Requirements:University degree in Informatics, Computer Sciences, Life Sciences or similarA minimum of 10+ years of experience as a Program / Project Manager. A minimum of 5+ years of experience in working in the Pharma or IT Industry ​Ability to understand and communicate with many different stakeholders, e.g., those in business, IT and quality.Excellent written and verbal communication skills (English language).Knowledge of / exposure to Drug Research, Development or Commercialization portfolios would be an advantageSuperior leadership, interpersonal, communication, collaboration, influencing, negotiation, problem solving skills and stakeholder managementSuperior project and program management skills, including strong knowledge of and ability to apply various methodologies (e.g. ICE, PRINCE2, Agile, Waterfall etc.)Must bring hands on experience on driving Agile deliveryGeneral understanding of current technologies especially in the data space, and their application to enable business valueExperience working in a global, multi-cultural and matrix environment. Experience in delivering GxP IT solutions is an added advantageSkills Desired Change Management, Decision Making Skills, Project Finance, Project Risk Management, Project Team Management, Stakeholder Engagement, Waterfall Model
