• Collaborating with architects, cloud engineers & project managers to analyse and optimize cloud infrastructure, ensuring that the company’s IT investments align with business goals.
• Leading cost optimization & avoidance efforts initiatives from initiation, planning through execution to transition to operation and closure.
• Bringing innovation & consolidation to Clariant global IT infrastructure cloud solutions & services.
• Working close with cloud vendors, stakeholders, senior management, and IT specialists.
• Taking accountability for service delivery performance, meeting customer expectations.
• Execution of support operations like Incident Management, Change Management, Problem Management, Service Requests, SLA, Status reports, Dashboards, etc.
• Providing accurate and regular reports to the management on performance of the service delivery
• Taking ownership of critical incidents, coordinating with resolution parties, and establishing effective communication between stakeholders for post-incident reviews.
• Thriving in a matrix work environment requires strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Requirements

• Higher education or equivalent degree in information management, computer science, business management or similar.
• 5-7 years experience in managing IT cloud costs and finding optimization areas.
• 3-5 years experience in service delivery role within IT infrastructure team – managing costs, contracts & vendors.
• Cloud FinOps practitioner background & certifications.
• ITIL certification.
• Agile/SCRUM tools experience, especially JIRA (platforma to organise tasks).
• Practical knowledge of cloud platforms and solutions, especially AWS & Azure.
• Effectively manage vendors to maintain support and deliver new features in a cost-effective manner.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
• Attention to detail is key for the success in this role.
• Strong analytical, time management and facilitation skills.
