What you`ll do

You have experience in Concur Travel implementation for international customers and are ready to contribute to SAP’s internal Concur T&E system together with SAP colleagues and external partners. Join our Corporate Process & IT – Travel & Expense (T&E) Management team and benefit from a structured onboarding program to learn SAP-specific travel and expense guidelines, legal and compliance obligations, and complex automated system integration. You will apply your travel industry knowledge to create the best customer-focused travel system for our employees globally.

Travel System Implementation and Support:

-Contribute to design, implement, and manage our Concur Travel Management System connected to online booking tools and Concur Expense.
-Support customization of Concur Travel to meet the specific needs of SAP group companies / legal entities.
-Contribute ideas for improving SAP’s Travel Management program.
-Collaborate with Travel vendors and service providers to incorporate their systems and services into SAP’s Travel Management framework.
-Help align technical aspects of service agreements with SAP standards.

Process Optimization and System Integration:

-Support automation and workflow improvements for travel booking and approval processes.
-Help identify and resolve inefficiencies in Travel Management practices.
-Assist in integrating between the SAP’s Travel Management System and other enterprise systems, such as HR and ERP systems to ensure seamless data flow and coordination.

Risk, Compliance, Security and Data Protection:

-Support compliance checks to ensure adherence to SAP’s travel policies and data privacy regulations.
-Assist with risk management measures, such as automated alerts for travel disruptions or safety concerns.
-Help maintain security of SAP’s Travel Management System to protect sensitive travel data and personal information.
 

What you bring

-5+ years of experience with Concur Travel configuration and setup in multinational environments.
-Familiarity with online booking tools (OBTs), Concur Expense and Concur reporting functionalities.
-Basic understanding of SAP internal T&E and related financial and/or HR applications.
-Knowledge of the corporate travel industry, including trends, regulations, and best practices.
-Familiarity with legal, security and regulatory requirements (e.g. GDPR) related to SAP’s business travel and data protection.
-Strong communication skills to work with stakeholders, vendors and end-users with the ability to explain technical concepts in a clear and understandable manner.
-Attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
-A proactive mindset that looks beyond obvious solutions and doesn’t stop at initial answers.

Our Corporate Process & IT – Travel & Expense team delivers best-in-class customer Travel & Expense experience by using SAP Concur for Travel service booking, Trip Requests and ensure most simplified but compliant Expense recording and subsequent automated processing. Our Functional Expense-, Travel- and Integration- Architects deliver features to accomplish the expectations of 107k+ end-users, considering the legal needs of the 70+ rolled-out countries and which are highly integrated with SAP, non-SAP systems and an uncountable number of Business Travel suppliers. Beside the no brainer business travel booking and expense claiming, we run a high process- and technical- integration with Customer Billing, Company Benefits (e.g. Flexible Mobility), Taxation in Payroll and ensure accurate Posting into Accounting with a strong customer focus and 100% Agile methodology.”
