Java Backend Developer
Location: Dublin City Centre (5 days onsite)
Contract Duration: 6 months
Daily rates: €500 – 600 DOEOverview:
We are looking for a skilled Java Backend Developer to join our dynamic team. You will play a key role in designing, implementing, and maintaining high-performance server-side applications.Key Responsibilities:

• Develop new features, fix bugs, and enhance the codebase.
• Translate product requirements into functional and extensible software.
• Build and deploy new applications while maintaining low response times.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Web and Android developers.
• Contribute to test plans and ensure high-quality code delivery.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Proven experience in backend Java development with a strong grasp of RESTful APIs and relational databases.
• Proficiency with Microservices, Spring Boot, and Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS or Google Cloud.
• Experience with Agile Scrum teams and distributed computing.
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.

Desirable Experience:

• Knowledge of Java/Kotlin.
• Understanding of DevOps principles and supporting scalable systems.

*For this position you need to be based in Dublin and hold a UK/EU passport or Stamp 4.
