You will start in the team Veldwerker 2, within this team we are fully engaged in the energy transition and play a crucial role in facilitating this change. As a member of this scrum team you will work closely with fellow developers, testers other teams and the product owner to continuously improve the application.You complete our networkThe team is currently busy developing “The Mechanic App,” an innovative tool that allows mechanics to receive and handle their work. With over 900 users relying on this app daily, we are determined to make the energy transition smoother.Our mechanics deal with a multitude of processes. Our goal is to simplify and streamline these processes into one intuitive workflow. This allows our mechanics to focus fully on their contribution to the energy transition, without being distracted by complex administrative tasks.For the further development of the Mechanic app we are looking for a specialist in developing Android applications. As Android developer you get the opportunity to work on the tool which is in use at the heart of Alliander, our monterus. And which has a direct impact on the operation of Alliander and thus the energy transition.In addition to Android knowledge, we work with many more technologies in the team. We work with a GIS component (ESRI) in app, and we also work with other technologies including Node.js, Angular, NestJS and Typescript. So as a developer within the team you will not only work on the android part, you will also get plenty of space to develop further in various web technologies.You boost our networkDo you want to work with the latest technologies and innovations? We are looking for a developer with the following competencies or experiences:Extensive experience with Android development.Minimum 2 years of demonstrable experience in developing android applications.Proficient in working with Android SDK, Kotlin and/or Java.Is familiar with working in an Agile / scrum environmentIs a team player.Nice to haves:Cordova plugins: Experience using and integrating Cordova plugins within Android applications.GIS (Geographic Information System): Knowledge of GIS systems (ESRI) and how they can be integrated into mobile applications.KnowledgeBetter organised for youBased on a 38-hour working week, you will receive:A gross monthly salary of € 4.274 to € 6.106;An Individual Choice Budget (IKB) of 18% of your gross annual salary.
