Job description

We currently have a vacancy for a Java – Full Stack Developer fluent in English, to offer his/her services as an expert who will be based in Belgium. The work will be carried out either in the company’s premises or on-site at customer premises. In the context of the first assignment, the successful candidate will be integrated with the Development team of the company that will closely cooperate with a major client’s IT team on site.Your tasks:

• Development and integration of technological components;
• Prototyping and implementation of user requirements;
• Elaboration of test programs;
• Integration with other applications;
• Writing of technical documentation;
• Assistance with deployment and configuration of the system.

Requirements

• University degree in IT combined with relevant IT professional experience of 13 years;

• In-depth experience with Java 8 and Java 11, Java 17;
• In depth knowledge of, and experience with Spring, including Core, JPA/Hibernate, Security and MVC;
• In depth knowledge of, and experience with Struts (version 1.3 or higher);
• In depth knowledge and skills on using Continuing Development / Continuing Integration techniques, knowledge of source code control repositories (GIT/Bitbucket) and build tools such as Maven or Gradle;
• In depth knowledge of, and experience with Oracle (versions 8+) and WebLogic;
• Experience with REST and SOAP webservices, JSON format with JAX-WS and with Jackson and JMS;
• In-depth experience with JavaScript Framework jQuery, Angular, KendoJS and RequireJS;
• In depth knowledge of, and experience with HTML 5 and CSS3;
• In depth knowledge of, and experience with modern security frameworks/protocols : JWT, OAUTH2;
• Excellent knowledge and experience Tomcat, AWS Cloud, Kafka messages, BPMN;
• Good knowledge and experience with MySQL (versions 5+);
• Experience working with the Atlassian Suite, JIRA Confluence Bitbucket and Bamboo;
• Knowledge of UML, in particular use case diagrams and activity diagrams;
• Good knowledge of interoperability technology (Service Oriented Architecture, web services, message-oriented middleware, service-oriented bus);
• Experience with Agile Principles;
• Excellent command of the English language.
