Job Category: AnalystJob Description:Job SummarySecurities Lending Trading Engineering – design and build the trading stack for the multi-billion-dollar Securities Lending Trading Business. Work on front-office trading platforms which enable short selling for our clients, including all the top hedge fund clients and institutional lenders globally.

• Work on trading stack built on modern technologies and process multiple TBs of data.
• Work closely with trading desk and have an impact on how the business is executed.
• Our Copilot powered development team are responsible for our entire trading stack, working closely with the business to increase our market share and revenue.
• We own a wide range of systems including automated trading systems, fast moving live data trading UIs, high throughput position calculation systems and many more.
• Join a strong, experienced team in Warsaw who are already leading global initiatives including improving business throughput, technical redesign, and accrual management.
• Our tech leads and mentors will help you grow your technical expertise and business knowledge while helping to deliver globally impactful programs.

Key Responsibilities

• Work closely with the Trading Desk and colleagues both locally and globally to design, build, test, and deliver revenue generating technical solutions.
• Partner with Traders to solve complex problems and deliver business value.
• Help to build the short-term growth and long-term vision for our complex and fast-moving technical platform strategies.

Basic Qualifications

• Analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail
• Hands-on experience with programming, preferably in Java software development
• Experience in designing and developing microservices
• Understanding of CI/CD, DevOps, and SRE principles
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively within a collaborative team environment.

Preferred Experience

• Understanding of real-time systems and messaging infrastructures (e.g. Kafka)
• Experience with microservices architecture and runtime containers (e.g. Kubernetes, Docker)
• Experience in building mission critical and highly available systems
• Experience of end-to-end design and implementation of software products

Nice to have

• JavaScript / TypeScript experience with React
• Experience with NoSQL databases (SingleStore, MemSQL, MongoDB)
• Finance, Securities Lending and Equities knowledge is a strong plus
