As market leader, we are a strategic partner for our clients, both in daily banking services and financial advice, mergers and acquisitions, sustainability and capital markets.We are looking for an ambitious young professional with up to 3-6 years of working experience who is eager to join our dynamic client-facing Corporate Sector Coverage (‘CSC’) team.You will be working within a team of 14 colleagues including 5 Senior Coverage Bankers. The CSC team is responsible to originate, develop and manage the relationship with the largest corporates in the Dutch market.You will have the unique opportunity to manage your own portfolio of clients, engage in strategic dialogues with CEO’s, CFO’s and Treasury teams alongside senior Coverage Bankers and to support the broader team on the preparation of complex analysis and pitches. You will build up profound finance and market knowledge to apply to projects and commercial initiatives alongside the team, with your strategic advisory (or comparable) experience you will lead and inspire the team to further enhance the strategic dialogue – also for clients also outside of your own portfolio.Your Role and ResponsibilitiesResponsibility for a portfolio of clients including clear targets to further enhance our strategic positioning and grow our P&LJoint responsibility alongside senior Coverage Bankers for some of the largest clients in our portfolio.Support and inspire the team to further enhance (financial) analyses on clients, sectors, and peers in an international environment.Actively manage, guide and participate in the preparation of financial models and client pitch books, client briefings, etc.Develop and apply in depth sector/industry/product knowledge to develop, maintain and grow relationships with prospective and existing clients to stimulate and manage demand for financial products and services offered by the organization and also create valuable relationships with our clientsCoordinate and lead Virtual Client Teams in account planning, execution and monitoring efforts for the assigned client portfolioLiaise with all product teams within the wholesale bank (Transaction Services, DCM, ECM, Corporate Finance, Lending, Client Services, etc.) to ensure superior client experienceHave frequent contact with the client on day-to-day businessShare knowledge and foster a culture of collaboration and inclusiveness, client focus, continuous improvement and innovationYou areAn enthusiastic person who gained in-depth advisory/capital structuring or comparable skills and is now looking for an opportunity to take on commercial client responsibility while inspiring, guiding and managing the team to further enhance the strategic dialogueA person with strong analytical, modelling and organisational skills, can process requests with diligence and speedAble to work under pressure and prioritise tasksA self-starter, able to take ownership and have a talent for taking it on and making it happenAn excellent communicator, able to efficiently co-ordinate a multiple stakeholder environmentA collaborative spirit and strong team playerA person with client focused mindset able to understand and cater client needsA person with high-level of integrity.
