Position Description As a (Junior) Legal & Compliance Specialist, you will become a vital part of Cinemo’s Legal team. You will help ensure that our global business operations remain compliant and secure by contributing legal expertise with a pragmatic and commercial mindset. You are driven, structured, and eager to grow in a technology-driven, international environment. In this role, you will: Contract Management Support the review, drafting, and negotiation of various commercial agreements including software license agreements and vendor contracts. Help ensure effective contract lifecycle management. Compliance & Data Protection Ensure adherence to international laws and regulations, particularly in the areas of data protection (e.g., GDPR), Open Source Software compliance, and export control. Intellectual Property Coordinate intellectual property topics such as trademark and patent registrations in collaboration with external legal counsel. Corporate Governance Assist with corporate governance processes, including support for international subsidiaries. Contribute to the development and maintenance of internal policies and procedures. Legal Tech & Innovation Drive the implementation and optimization of legal technology tools (e.g., contract management systems, e-discovery software) to increase the Legal team’s efficiency and scalability. What you will need to succeed: Academic background in Law or Business Law, ideally with an international focus Minimum of 3 years of experience in a competitive, technology-driven sector (e.g., Software, Consumer Electronics, IoT) Solid understanding of IP law, data privacy, and corporate governance in an international context Basic knowledge of German law is necessary Excellent communication, negotiation and collaboration skills Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail and a high standard of integrity A hands-on and solution-oriented approach, with a structured, methodical way of working Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, knowledge of German language is a plus
