What you will be doing:Created in 1986, XD Connects is a Dutch fast-growing company that is specialized in providing B2B gifts. Our headquarter with 100+ employees is located in Rijswijk. However, our scope has crossed multiple borders and we are serving clients within Europe.

With innovation & sustainability being one of our pillars, we continuously aim to improve and to pursue greater ambitions. We aspire to further expand our products range and growth. To succeed in this mission, we are seeking a Junior Product Technician (full-time).Junior Product Technician Textile

• Develop new fabrics with corresponding suppliers
• Develop new colours and check labdips (spectra photo meter)
• Create Technical files – technical sketches, product description, measurement & grading
• Follow up Sampling, arrange fitting and prepare proto comments
• Organize Size Set fitting and prepare final comments for production
• Prepare Care labels for new styles
• Set color standards and ensure regular shade evaluation
• Arrange print tests during fabric development and before production
• Check and approve PPS samples and all other sales/team/fair samples
• Cross develop samples
• Manage product data management

What we are looking for:

• You have a technical degree in textile
• Experience in the textile industry (retail or B2B)
• Fluent in English and Dutch
• Knowledge of illustrator
• You have a strong awareness of the challenges of sustainable development
• Strong communication skills as well as problem solving and analytical thinking skills
• Great multitasking skills and capabilities to ensure deadlines
