Hungary – BudapestTech People is a European provider of technical skills permanent recruitment and temporary contracting services for multiple industries.Currently we are looking forKAFKA ADMIN (LJK)Location: Budapest, hybridDaily rate: 80-120.000 HUFType of eployment: contractingPosition OverviewAs an Apache Kafka Administrator, you will play a key role in managing and optimizing our Kafka infrastructure to ensure high availability and performance.Key Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain Apache Kafka clusters
• Monitor system performance and implement tuning measures for optimal Kafka performance and reliability
• Perform regular upgrades and patch management to ensure a secure and up-to-date environment
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Kafka infrastructure in a timely and efficient manner
• Stay current with industry trends and advancements and suggest improvements

Qualifications

• Proven experience in Apache Kafka
• Experience working with monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or similar
• Previous experience in the banking or financial services industry is a strong plus
• Experience with tools such as Kafka Connect, Kafka Streams, Schema Registry, and KSQL is highly desirable
• Familiarity with scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or Shell for automation
