Job DescriptionThe Key Account Manager (KAM) role in the Lombardia region of Northern Italy is a strategic position focused on driving sales and market share growth for our haematology products. The KAM will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic account plans, building and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders, and conducting regular business meetings, sales presentations, and promotional events. Collaboration with internal teams, including marketing, medical, market access, and business insights, is essential to align strategies and achieve business objectives.Key responsibilities include monitoring and analyzing market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify opportunities and challenges. The KAM will also provide market access support, ensure compliance with regulatory and company policies, and possess strong commercial acumen and project management skills.Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategic account plans to achieve sales targets and market share growth.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including healthcare professionals, KOLs, and professional societies.
  • Conduct regular business meetings, sales presentations, and promotional events to engage with customers and promote our haematology products.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing, medical, market access, and business insights, to align strategies and achieve business objectives.
  • Monitor and analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify opportunities and challenges.
  • Provide market access support, including referral networks and specialized commissioning key policies.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory and company policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Life Sciences, Business).
  • Proven track record of success in pharmaceutical sales and account management, preferably in haematology or oncology.
  • In-depth knowledge of the healthcare system, including NHS structure, policies, and cancer service provision.
  • Strong commercial acumen and ability to analyze market trends and data.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.
  • Project management skills, including the ability to implement, monitor, and review projects.
